TriForce Johnson Achieves Perfect Nintendo DS Score and a New Guinness World Record

Triforce

On Tuesday, August 18th, TriForce Johnson set about the daunting task of playing a perfect game of Tetris DS, Endless Marathon Mode. TriForce, who legally changed his name as an homage to his favorite hobby, pressed the start button on his Nintendo DS at 9:36 AM, and an unbelievable 18 hours, 10 minutes, and 22 seconds later, achieved the perfect score of 99,999,999 points at 3:47 AM early Wednesday morning. Upon reaching this score milestone, the game simply stops tallying points, making this the highest score possible.

TriForce's attempt makes this the Fastest Time to Achieve a Perfect Score on Tetris DS. TriForce completed this task in such a short time by focusing on achieving a Tetris (breaking 4 lines at once) as often as possible, maximizing his points.

Guinness World Record Judge Doug Parsons was on hand to witness the record breaking event which took place in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

TriForce submitted his Record Breaking idea to Guinness World Records. To set your own Guinness World Record, Click Here and submit your idea!
